For the purpose of offsetting variations in the price of diesel fuel, JacintoPort International wishes to advise our valued customers that a new Fuel Surcharge will be implemented effective October 1st, 2022.
This fuel surcharge will be collected on all cargo that is subject to loading and unloading involving the use of any diesel-powered equipment in accordance with the schedule published on Port of Houston Tariff 8 Subrule 143 and Tariff 14, Subrule 121.
The fuel surcharge is determined by the weekly average national retail price of diesel fuel published by the Department of Energy.
