Jacintoport wishes to advise our valued customers that we are actively monitoring Hurricane Laura, which is currently projected to impact the Texas coast.

The National Weather Service has issued Hurricane and Storm Surge Warnings for Houston and eastward along the upper Texas coast. As a result, the U.S. Coast Guard has imposed condition “X-Ray” on all Port of Houston facilities.

Jacintoport International terminal is open today, including rail and trucking activities. However, under the current U.S. Coast Guard orders, the terminal will close tomorrow ahead of Laura’s expected landfall.

We will continue to provide additional updates as developments occur. We appreciate the patience and support of our customers during the 2020 Hurricane Season.
