POSITION SUMMARY:                 

This position is responsible for coordinating the preparation and procurement of advertising materials required for the promotion of the company’s services.  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or five (5) years of related experience is also acceptable.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with proficiency Microsoft Excel.  
  • Possess a clean valid driver’s license.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Strong communications skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong visual communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills. 
  • High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with normal activities.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and prioritize.
  • Ability to communicate (read and write) effectively in a business environment.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical journals. 
  • Ability to work extended hours, holidays, and/or weekends as needed.

Preferred

  • Three (3) years of marketing experience
  • Knowledge Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of HTML5
  • Knowledge of WordPress
  • Knowledge of HubSpot Marketing Suite
  • Knowledge of Hootsuite or another comparable social media management platform

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary

  • Maintain all marketing materials related to services with up-to-date information through coordinating with various company subject matter experts.
  • Identify and communicate key messages regarding industry changes to defined audiences via web, email, social media, and direct marketing pieces.
  • Gather initial campaign specifications, requirements, and coordinate corresponding activities via third-party vendors, freelance staff and the email marketing automation system.
  • Assist in the design, implementation and optimization of cross-channel marketing campaigns supporting sales initiatives and brand awareness programs including, but not limited to: project management of web development, web landing pages, email campaigns, print ads, web banner ads, and internal company notifications.
  • Create editorial content on new and existing services for small group, large group, and national accounts.
  • Serve as staff writer and contributor for the organizations publications, social media and communication projects as assigned.

 

Secondary

  • Attends tradeshows, conferences and official events as a representative of the company when needed.
  • Process digital marketing analytics reports.
  • Process marketing campaign budgets, track expenses and report to ensure maximized return on investment.
  • Alongside Marketing Manager, ensure internal and external stakeholders have a thorough understanding of company services being promoted through marketing campaigns.
  • Manage user segments and lists within the email marketing automation system to ensure accurate delivery of campaign messaging.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:

Reports directly to the Sr. Marketing Manager. Does not exercise supervision over any other position.

 

CONDITIONS:

  • Exposed to controlled temperature and comfortable indoor office environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
  • Local travel required (10%).  When on the road exposed to changing environments.
